This season, we’re excited to introduce two special collaborations with creators we truly admire — Suna and Ella.
Ella — From Kyoto Visit to Global Collaboration
Our connection with Ella began quite some time ago, when she visited Kyoto and stopped by our physical store. During that visit, she shared a reel that captured the attention of many viewers and introduced Nomura Tailor to a global audience in a warm, genuine way.
Ella created an elegant maxi dress using a lightweight printed linen from Nomura Tailor, while testing a pattern for Paradise Patterns. The result is a simple yet sophisticated piece, balancing delicacy and movement.
Unfortunately, the fabric she selected for this dress, but she choose some similar flower patterns. Let us introduce.

Now based in the United States, Ella continues to sew with Nomura Tailor fabrics through our online store — showing how our fabrics can travel far beyond Kyoto.
Suna — Timeless Sewing with Thoughtful Fabrics
Suna is a maker whose sewing we have long been a fan of. Her work is refined, practical, and always beautifully made. Because Nomura Tailor carries a wide range of unique fabrics from Japan, we felt her aesthetic would pair perfectly with our collection — which led us to reach out for this collaboration.
For her project, Suna chose a stunning Japanese fabric with the soft feel of linen and a beautiful structure that resists creasing. She used the Snow Top pattern by Jules Smith, creating a versatile and timeless garment.
Fabric is Japanese Fabric 's wakakusa color.
A fabric with slightly uneven dyeing, giving it a vintage feel. Thicker than muslin or square cloth, yet soft and supple, suitable for clothing. Also recommended for interior items such as cushion covers.
We can’t wait to see what she makes next.
We’re deeply grateful to Suna and Ella for sharing their creativity with Nomura Tailor.
