Denim is a classic fabric that is durable yet soft to the touch, making it suitable for a wide range of uses, from clothing to small accessories.
Selvage denim is fabric made on traditional shuttle looms, with the edges (selvage) finished to prevent fraying.
As it is washed, the fabric develops a unique texture, fading, and unevenness, allowing you to enjoy the characteristic aging process of selvage denim.
Denim is measured by weight, expressed in ounces, and the higher the number, the heavier it is, which typically means the fabric is thicker.
8 to 10 oz denim fabric is usually classified as thin type. Standard denim (jeans) is said to be 13.5 to 14 oz.
*There is a distortion in the grain of the fabric, so we recommend straightening the fabric before cutting.
