[Product Description]
Bishu, Japan
Bishu refers to the area spanning the western part of Aichi Prefecture and the western part of Gifu Prefecture. Known for its fertile land, abundant water, and long history of human interaction, it has been recognized as Japan’s largest wool fabric production region, accounting for approximately 60% of domestic production.
This fabric is made using Bishu materials. It features a 2-way stretch, offering comfort with stretch in both the vertical and horizontal directions. Despite containing wool, it has been treated with a washable process, allowing for hand washing and easy care at home. Ideal for making jackets, skirts, and other clothing items.
