Did not expect the rough, washed look of the fabric. Color was good, but did not like the texture or look of the fabric. Will make a different selection of mid-weight solid cotton next time.

I love the fabric. The print is beautiful. The smoked yellow colour is nice and would be even nicer if it were brighter/ deeper in colour. I also have the beige color one which I bought from your store in Kyoto. Love your shop in Kyoto.
Polyester Stretch Satin Fabric - Plain
My husband wanted a happi for the summer so we stopped by Nomura while in Kyoto. He picked out this fabric which features Fuji-san and cherry blossoms. I loved the selvage edge detail and used it to finish the pockets on the happi. Great option for a lightweight summer garment.
I bought this to make a happi and it is such a beautiful fabric! It is medium weight and has a slight texture you can see from the closeup photos. The shade of purple (lavender) is as pictured.

I used this to line a purse and it adds to much fun color. It was very easy to work with and now I wish I'd bought more to use as the outer of a bag instead of hiding it away on the inside!
