What is the minimum yardage I can purchase?

The minimum yardage is 10 cm, which is approximately 0.1 yards.

What is the length of quantity 1?

In Japan, the metric system is used, with units like "cm" (centimeters) and "m" (meters). On our website, quantity 1 is 10 cm. 10 cm = approximately 4 inches or 0.1 yards. Please note that quantity 1 does not equal 1 yard.

What is the width of the fabric?

The standard fabric width in Japan is 110 cm (43 inches), but the width may vary depending on the fabric. Please check the "Fabric width" section on each product page for the exact measurement.

The quantity I want is out of stock. Will it be restocked?

If the item you want is out of stock or the quantity is insufficient, please contact us via email at <order@nomura-tailor.co.jp> , and we will let you know the expected restock date. If you're willing to wait, we can create an order page for you, and the item will be shipped as soon as it is restocked.

Yes, absolutely. The fabric is cut upon receiving the order and will always be provided in a continuous length.

Is there a physical store where I can see the products in person?

Where will my order be shipped from?

Orders will be shipped directly from our office in Kyoto, Japan, using DHL Express or EMS (Japan Post's International Express Mail Service).

Which countries can you ship to?

We ship products to over 100 countries worldwide using DHL Express or EMS.

Can I choose the shipping carrier?

We will select the shipping carrier. If you wish to specify either DHL Express or EMS, please contact us in advance via <CONTACT link>, and we will check if there are any additional fees. Other shipping carriers cannot be requested.

How much is the shipping fee?

Orders over $72 USD are eligible for free shipping. For orders under $72 USD, the shipping fee will be automatically added to your shopping cart at checkout. You can also check shipping rates in advance on our [Shipping & Returns] page.

How long will it take for my order to be shipped?

Orders will be shipped within 3 business days after we receive them, assuming no items are out of stock. (Please note that weekends in Japan are not business days.)

How many days will delivery take?

DHL Express delivery takes 1–4 days, while EMS delivery takes 3–7 days.

Can I purchase tracking and insurance?

All orders are shipped with tracking and insurance. We take great care to inspect and pack items properly before shipping. If you notice any damage or issues, please contact us immediately via <contact>. We will assist with claims and work quickly to resolve any problems. (You may be asked to provide evidence such as photos or documents.)

Will I receive a tracking number?

Once your order is shipped, a tracking number will be sent to you via email.

Who is responsible for customs duties?

Any potential customs fees or taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

Can I mark my package as a gift to avoid customs fees?

We cannot mark packages as gifts.

Do I have to pay Japanese consumption tax?

No, you do not need to pay Japanese consumption tax. All prices listed are tax-excluded (tax-free). However, when shipping to a Japanese address, a 10% consumption tax will apply.

In which currency are these prices listed?

The default price is in US dollars. You can also view and purchase products in other currencies.

What should I do if my order hasn't arrived yet?

If a postal or DHL delivery attempt was made while you were unavailable, a delay may occur. If you believe this is the case, please use the EMS tracking system or the DHL tracking system to check the current status of your package. If the status shows "Delivery attempt," it is possible that the nearest post office or DHL has held the package and is waiting for contact from you (usually, they hold packages for 7 to 10 days before returning them to us). In this case, please contact the nearest post office (providing the delivery information and tracking number) and inquire if the package can be redelivered or if you can pick it up in person (you may be required to show ID).

What should I do if I received the wrong item or the wrong quantity, or if my item arrived damaged or dirty?

If you find an error or defect in our product, you can choose to receive a replacement or a refund. This guarantee does not apply if the product is found to have been misused or abused. Please contact us immediately at order@nomura-tailor.co.jp. If your package arrives damaged, please do not open or wash it. Take clear photos of the damage and email them along with your order number and tracking number. We will investigate the issue.

What if the product is different from the image and I want to return it?

We do not accept returns or exchanges for customer preference. We do our best to provide product images that closely match the actual product. However, please understand that there may be color discrepancies due to the device used to view the images.
