This is Katsuragi, one of the standard plain cotton fabrics.It is a twill weave fabric and is a member of the twill and gaber fabrics.
However, Katsuragi is superior in terms of thickness and durability.
It is a firm fabric, close to the thickness of standard denim, and can be used for a wide range of items, from miscellaneous accessories to clothing such as pants.
Because it is a twill weave, there may be some distortion in the grain of the fabric.It is recommended that the fabric be used after it has been adjusted.
