This is a jacquard fabric that is a little thinner and has a taut feel like taffeta.
Unlike "printed fabrics" in which a pattern is printed on top of the fabric, jacquard fabrics are woven fabrics in which the design itself is woven into the fabric.
It is an expressive fabric with fine lines floating three-dimensionally.
