Arimatsu shibori is the generic name for cotton shibori made in the Arimatsu-cho and Narumi-machi areas of Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture.
The shibori technique is used to dye the cloth by squeezing it together to create various patterns.
The thin silk material is slightly transparent and has a gentle touch.
It is also recommended as a material for scarves.
