Celebrating Our Customers’ Beautiful Creations

Celebrating Our Customers’ Beautiful Creations

At Nomura Tailor, we’re constantly inspired by the creativity and craftsmanship of our customers around the world. Each handmade piece tells a story — of patience, imagination, and love for the process.

Today, we’re thrilled to share three wonderful creations made using our fabrics. Each one reflects a unique expression of artistry and the personal joy of making something by hand.

1. A Reversible Coat Full of Memories

This heartwarming piece was made by a mother for her daughter, Sawyer — a reversible little coat crafted from fabric brought back from Japan.

The fabric used is our Nomura Tailor Limited Cotton Muslin Inkjet Print Fabric – Yonagadō, designed by the Osaka-based goods store Yonagadō and sold exclusively at Nomura Tailor. Entitled Collector of Fragmented Memories, it’s a fabric filled with nostalgia and artistry, featuring patterns collected from designs loved by Yonagadō over the years.

“I made this little reversible coat for Sawyer made out of some fun fabric I brought back from Japan.” 🧵🪡🎏

A creation that beautifully connects generations — both within a family and through the legacy of design.

2. Handmade Happiness with TAUKO Magazine ✂️

“Happiness is handmade!”

This joyful project celebrates the release of TAUKO Magazine Issue No.17, where the creator participated in the Make & Share feature — sewing three delightful new patterns:

  1. DIA by Réka MacDonald — a reversible light jacket offering two looks in one, sewn with smocking detail and a grid-patterned fabric.

  2. ADELE by Stefanie Kroth — a timeless decorative rose, handmade with care.

  3. ANNIN by Kristi Morrow — a simple lined scrunchie bag, created from leftover fabric scraps of DIA.

Some fabrics were sourced from Nomura Tailor and Fableism, creating a harmonious mix of texture and tone.
These projects reflect the essence of handmade joy — thoughtful, detailed, and full of heart. 💞

Unfortunately, the fabric her used was sold out. But I would like to share similar one which made by same manufacturer.

3. Denim Perfection: The Merchant & Mills Paynter Jacket 🧵

This stunning piece features the Merchant & Mills Paynter Jacket made from premium denim fabric purchased from Nomura Tailor. The maker carefully followed the pattern from @the.sewing.club, adding their own touch with thoughtful details like bound seams and custom buttons.

“I made an XS based on my measurements (no mods for female fit) and extended the length ever so slightly... I figured since it’s such a complex pattern I might as well go hard and make a piece to last forever!”

This creator is a long-time Nomura Tailor customer, and we’re always thrilled to see how our fabrics become lasting wardrobe treasures in her skilled hands.
