We’re delighted to feature the beautiful work of one of our customers in New York, who has a true passion for handmade creations. Today's creator are Priropro.
He made hand-dyed tenugui, jackets, hats, yukata, monpe, and purses, with our store's fabric.
As he told us:
“We really don't have fabric like this in US, so it brings a unique touch to my work.”
It’s always inspiring to see how our fabrics take on new life in the hands of talented makers around the world. Each stitch reflects their creativity, and each finished piece tells its own story — one that blends Japanese craftsmanship with the vibrant spirit of New York.
👒hat
They crafted a charming hat using our Cotton Oxford Printed Fabric – Mimosa. The cheerful yellow blossoms bring warmth and freshness, making the piece perfect for brightening any day.
👖wide pants
Next, He designed a pair of wide-leg pants using a playful fish-patterned fabric. The design is truly one-of-a-kind — as they told us, they’ve “never seen anything like it sold anywhere.”
Unfortunately this same fabric is sold out, but we have similar one.

👘yukata
Next is Yukata.
Yukata — a casual summer kimono typically made of cotton and worn during warm months in Japan. This version features a striking dragon motif, blending the elegance of Japanese summer wear with a bold, powerful design. It’s a beautiful example of how traditional garments can be reimagined while still honoring their cultural roots.
Our store have some dragon-motif fabric. Why don't you make some Yukata?
