In this workshop, you’ll make a mini drawstring bag from one piece of fabric with a lining.
Drawstring bags have long been used by both women and men, and they remain a simple and convenient item.
You’ll learn how to add a modern touch to this tradi onal design using easy needlework. We’ll focus on the weaving stitch, which is popular for its simplicity and clean look—suitable for all skill levels.
The workshop also introduces some basic Sashiko techniques,including how to use a Sashiko needle and thimble.
